Timber (ebony), stone are the basic materials of predilection in my sculptures. To these materials I add other elements such as buttertree nuts, horns, metal, ropes and other components which may contribute to my artistic expression.

Assembling elements represent for me the opportunity to express my vision of today's mankind, through my cultural background.

My artistic expression is the result of the surrounding environment, and specially of the social life, where I am living.

In my early sculptures, many of the themas reveal the relation between cultures, how important tradition is, as a cultural fundament.

Concerning the exhibition in Amsterdam, the displayed sculptures bring together two daily happenings, two countries, two cultures for a precious and common good: think about the pulley-block, it is used to move objects, goods in Amsterdam, whereas in Burkina it is an useful tool to get water from the well.
