Hilário Nhatugueja
Born: 30 July 1964 in Maputo.

He studied ceramics at the Escola de Artes Visuais in Maputo. Today he is a teacher at the very same school.

Since 1986 he has participated in group exhibitions in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

In 1989 he obtained the first prize in an exhibition of new talents in Maputo. In 1993 he was selected among the best artists of the Mobile American Press exhibition in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Hilário Nhatugueja is a member of the Núcleo de Arte and belongs to the founding members of arts association Arte Feliz.
