Afrovibes Agenda

SOIL | SOUL – Het festivalthema van Afrovibes 2026 is Soil | Soul. In een wereld waarin land steeds vaker inzet is van conflict en macht, onderzoeken Afrikaanse makers de betekenis van land, afkomst en spirituele verbondenheid. In veel Afrikaanse wereldbeelden is land meer dan territorium: het is een bron van herinneringen, voorouders, rituelen en identiteit. Wat betekent het om verbonden te zijn met de grond waarop je leeft? En wat gebeurt er als je wordt losgemaakt van je oorsprong?

This panel extends that question into the domain of knowledge and artistic practice. The panel features Florent Mahoukou, Abdoulaye Trésor Konate, Jennifer Tosch and is moderated by Leil El Maslouhi.
