Before they changed South Africa's electronic scene as GoldFish, Dominic Peters and David Pool were students by day, blowing the roof off many a house party by night. In recent years, the duo found international success with their dynamic sound of house, pop and jazz, filled with African rhythms, cheeky samples and endlessly upbeat hooks.

For the past five years, Leisure Music Productions has built a strong and lasting connection with the South African electronic music community through its involvement with AfricaBurn, developing friendships, artistic collaborations and a wider creative family around the label. That relationship will now move from the South African desert to Amsterdam, as members of this extended family come together with Leisure Music Productions during ADE for a dedicated label event. Abel Selaocoe is de cellist bij uitstek als het gaat om het verschuiven van grenzen. Hij beweegt zich moeiteloos tussen vele genres en stijlen en legt verbindingen tussen westerse en niet-westerse muziek. In dit concert met Amsterdam Sinfonietta mengt hij traditionele Afrikaanse muziek met klassieke en nieuwe westerse muziek.
