In 2019 scoorde Divine Ikubor oftewel Rema grote hits met tracks als ‘Dumebi’ en ‘Corny’. Ook was een van zijn allereerste hits 'Iron Man' te vinden in Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist. Zijn missie om afrobeats over de hele wereld te verspreiden staat centraal in alles wat de 22-jarige singer-songwriter en rapper doet. Rema’s sound omschrijft hij zelf als ‘afrorave’, een afrobeats subgenre met Arabische en Indiase invloeden. Begin dit jaar kwam debuutalbum ‘Rave en Roses’ uit, waar o.a. 6LACK, Chris Brown en AJ Tracey op terug te horen zijn. This is definitely one to watch!

Entoto brengt een hedendaagse interpretatie van Ethiopische funk van de ’60s. Bulderende saxofoons, soulvolle zang en groovende ritmes smelten samen in een energieke performance, terwijl het publiek zich waant op de dansvloer van swingend Addis Ababa!  Vanaf april heeft Entoto Band bijna iedere week een concert!
