Echoes of In*dependence
Cabo Verde en Suriname vierden afgelopen jaar vijftig jaar onafhankelijkheid. Congo vierde vijfenzestig jaar onafhankelijkheid.

I am not me, the horse is not mine

SNAPSHOTS #7: Transition through Transmission with Innavisions
At the centre of this exhibition and public program is the question of how knowledge, memories and cultural expression are passed on to the next generation of makers, thinkers, activists and youth within Black diasporic lifeworlds. In Transition through Transmission, Innavisions, together with invited guests, explores new dimensions within visual art and music by connecting with spiritual, cosmic and African (diasporic) forms of knowledge.
