Galerie Lemaire is pleased to present the exhibition Stories Unfold, featuring works by South African artist Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi (Cape Town, 1977) alongside ethnographic objects from New Guinea. This dialogue between contemporary painting and traditional artifacts invites reflection on the power of image and narrative, and how these can be expressed across cultures through diverse techniques and materials.
This exhibition has been organized in collaboration with SBK Amsterdam and Fons Geerlings (Galerie 23).

Vanuit haar dubbele wortels – Brabant en Sierra Leone – maakt Sarah Janneh muziek en verhalen over de zoektocht naar waar je thuis hoort. Soms rauw, soms troostend, altijd persoonlijk en dichtbij. Met haar solo show Brabo Leone omarmt Sarah Janneh de rijkdom van deze dualiteiten in plaats van er één te kiezen.
