Tijdens vier dagen Rabobank Amersfoort Jazz 2017 (8-11 juni) verzorgen 350 artiesten uit 21 landen, 85 optredens op pleinen en binnen historische locaties in de Amersfoortse binnenstad. Nagenoeg alle concerten zijn gratis toegankelijk. Dit jaar Focus op Spanje. Maar ook uit musici uit Zuid-Afrika en Nigeria. Vocaliste Zoë Modiga, pianist Bokani Dyer en saxofonist Linda Sikhakhane; drie jonge en talentvolle musici die worden begeleid door contrabassist Steve Zwanink en drummer Roberto Pistolesi. De geboren gitarist Adedeji groeide op in Lagos, miljoenenstad in Nigeria. Hij studeerde aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen en ontwikkelde een dansbare en meeslepende stijl.
