De tentoonstelling AIR in Zuidoost #2025 toont het werk van alle (inter)nationale kunstenaars die het afgelopen jaar in de residentie zaten of op uitwisseling waren in Ghana, als onderdeel van het BijlmAIR-programma. Een prachtige, diverse reflectie op Amsterdam Zuidoost.

Galerie Lemaire is pleased to present the exhibition Stories Unfold, featuring works by South African artist Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi (Cape Town, 1977) alongside ethnographic objects from New Guinea. This dialogue between contemporary painting and traditional artifacts invites reflection on the power of image and narrative, and how these can be expressed across cultures through diverse techniques and materials.
This exhibition has been organized in collaboration with SBK Amsterdam and Fons Geerlings (Galerie 23).

In de huidige context van wijdverbreide adoptie van precisielandbouw (PA) en enthousiasme binnen beleid, media, ontwikkeling en technologie, onderzoekt deze thesis de impact van PA-technologie op agrarische verandering. Specifiek wordt onderzocht hoe PA bestaande sociale productieverhoudingen hervormt en leidt tot het ontstaan van nieuwe relaties, actoren en dynamieken. De centrale onderzoeksvraag luidt: Hoe beïnvloeden PA-technologieën agrarische verandering?

Uniting the sounds of the motherlands and the islands, these two events have been pushing culture forward in Amsterdam for years. Afrolosjes has been at the forefront of Afrobeats; a grassroots organization that emerged from Amsterdam South-East, representing the diverse sounds of Africa on festival stages, through their weekly radio show, and in clubs across the city.
