Showcasing Afro-Electronic sounds and rhythms from all corners of the globe, Parallel introduces its latest collaboration with NYC-based DESCENDANTS. For this debut edition, we welcome scene-leading Shimza who will be performing for the first time in Amsterdam. DESCENDANTS is the fastest-growing community-based Afro House experience in New York City. Our mission is to bring beautiful souls together to express and truly experience Afro House and other culturally inspired electronic music. Combining eclectic Afro-Electronic artists from around the world that express a wide range of culturally inspired house music, along with in-house projection mapping & visuals, DESCENDANTS strives to curate Spiritually Elevated Experiences for their visitors. Locatie: Parallel. Parallel is gevestigd op Buiksloterweg 5C in Amsterdam Noord, in het gebouw van Tolhuistuin. Vanaf Amsterdam Centraal kun je met de gratis veerpont naar de overkant, waar je na links af te hebben geslagen, tegen Tolhuistuin aanloopt. Let op: voor Parallel wordt er een andere ingang gebruikt. Je kunt dan naar binnen via Buiksloterweg 5c en dat bevindt zich aan de achterzijde van het gebouw. Als je dichtbij de club wilt dineren, raden we restaurant THT aan in hetzelfde gebouw. Let op dat je in het hele gebouw, dus ook het restaurant, alleen maar met een pinpas/creditcard kunt betalen.
